Most social media tools are built for businesses in the US or Europe. They bill in US dollars, need an international card, and know nothing about Dashain, Tihar or the fact that your busiest customers are on Facebook and TikTok rather than X.
That makes choosing social media management tools in Nepal harder than it looks. This guide compares eight schedulers on price, payment options from Nepal, supported networks and free plans, so you can pick one and get back to posting. Full disclosure: GoBrandIt is our product, and we’ve listed its limits honestly.
Prices are as listed in September 2026 and can change. Dollar prices are converted at roughly Rs. 140 to US$1 for comparison only.
What Nepali businesses should look for
- A way to pay from Nepal. Most tools only accept international cards. A prepaid dollar card works, but a tool that takes eSewa or bank transfer in rupees is far simpler.
- The networks you actually use. Facebook and TikTok drive most business in Nepal, with Instagram growing fast. Make sure both Facebook Pages and TikTok are supported.
- A shared calendar for festivals. Dashain, Tihar, Chhath and New Year decide half your marketing year. You need to plan weeks ahead.
- A mobile app. Many Nepali business owners run their pages from a phone.
- A free plan or cheap entry tier. Rs. 500 to Rs. 1,000 a month is realistic for a small shop; US$99 a month is not.

How to pay for social media tools from Nepal
- Pay in rupees where you can. GoBrandIt’s Nepal plans take eSewa or bank transfer, so there’s no card to arrange.
- Use a prepaid dollar card from a Nepali bank for tools that only bill in US dollars. Make sure it’s enabled for international online payments.
- Check yearly billing. Almost every tool is cheaper per month when paid yearly, which also means fewer card transactions.
- Keep receipts for your accounts, especially if you claim the cost as a business expense.
Do you even need a tool?
If you post twice a week to one Facebook Page, the Meta Business Suite planner may be enough. A scheduler earns its money when you have three or more accounts, more than one person posting, or a festival calendar to plan around. Our guide to social media marketing in Nepal covers the basics first.
