You log in on Bluesky's own sign-in page. No app password to create, and GoBrandIt never sees your password.

Put a link in a post with no media and it goes out as a link card. Mentions and links come out clickable, not as plain text.

How to connect
Connect Bluesky with its own sign-in.
Bluesky supports proper OAuth now, so you don't need an app password. You approve GoBrandIt on Bluesky and you're back in a few seconds.

Open Social Accounts
In GoBrandIt, go to Social Accounts and click the "Add account" tile.

Choose "Bluesky"
Under "Service", keep Bluesky selected. If you run your own PDS, choose "Custom" and fill in the "Server Address". Click "Next".

Sign in on Bluesky
Bluesky's sign-in page opens. Log in, approve GoBrandIt, and you come back connected.

Open the composer, select the Bluesky account, write a post or a thread, and pick a time.

A few Bluesky details worth knowing.
300 goes fast
If a post feels cramped, carry on in a reply with "Add Post" instead of cutting the point that matters.
Media or link card, not both
A link card only appears when there's no image or video. Decide which one that post needs more.
Replies arrive in batches
Notifications are checked every 15 minutes, so a new reply can take a few minutes to reach the inbox.

Can I schedule Bluesky posts?
Yes. Connect your account, write the post, and pick a time, a suggested best time or your queue. It publishes to Bluesky on schedule.
Do I need a Bluesky app password?
No. GoBrandIt uses Bluesky's own sign-in (OAuth). You log in on Bluesky, approve access, and GoBrandIt never sees your password.
Can I schedule a thread on Bluesky?
Yes. Use "Add Post" in the composer to add replies under your first post, then schedule the whole thread together.
Does GoBrandIt work with a self-hosted Bluesky PDS?

What is the character limit on Bluesky?
300 characters per post. GoBrandIt shows what's left for Bluesky separately from your other networks, so a longer Facebook caption doesn't trip you up.
