What you can do
Your blog and your socials, working both ways.
Schedule blog posts
Write in the GoBrandIt composer and publish to WordPress at the time you pick, alongside the social posts that promote it.
Self-hosted or WordPress.com
Connect a self-hosted site with an Application Password, or sign in with WordPress.com for WordPress.com and Jetpack sites.
Draft, review or go live
Set "Post Status" to Publish Immediately, Save as Draft, Pending Review or Private, so an editor can still check it in WordPress.
Categories and tags handled
Type them separated by commas. Any that don't exist on your site yet are created for you.
A free plugin for the other direction
The GoBrandIt plugin adds "Share on GoBrandIt" under every post and page in wp-admin, ready for the networks you've connected.
Approvals still apply
Posts shared from the plugin follow your workspace's approval setting, so nothing skips the review step.
How to connect
Connect your WordPress site.
Pick the option that matches your site. Self-hosted sites use a WordPress Application Password: you create it once in your profile, and you can revoke it in WordPress whenever you like. WordPress.com and Jetpack sites just sign in.
Before you start, you'll need
A public site on HTTPS (private or internal addresses are refused for safety)
A WordPress user for GoBrandIt to post as
For self-hosted sites, an Application Password (Users → Profile → Application Passwords)
Admin access to your GoBrandIt workspace
1
Create an Application Password
In wp-admin, go to Users → Profile and scroll to "Application Passwords". Type a name like GoBrandIt, click "Add New Application Password" and copy the password. WordPress shows it only once.
2
Open Social Accounts
In GoBrandIt, go to Social Accounts and click the "Add account" tile.
3
Choose "Custom WordPress Website"
Enter your "Site URL", your WordPress "Username" and the "Application Password", then click "Connect Custom WordPress".
4
On WordPress.com or Jetpack?
Choose "WordPress.com / Jetpack Site" instead and sign in with WordPress.com. No Application Password needed.
5
Schedule your first blog post
Open the composer, select the site, fill in "WordPress Options" and pick a time.
In the composer
WordPress Options, plus the free plugin.
When a WordPress site is selected in the composer, these fields appear under "WordPress Options". The last two cards cover the plugin, which works the other way round.

Defaults to the first 50 characters of your text. Write your own for anything you want people to find in search.

Good to know
Honest limits before you start.
One image, as the featured image
GoBrandIt sets the first attached image as the featured image and skips the rest. If the post needs inline photos, send it as a draft and add them in WordPress.
Your site has to be public
We connect to public sites over HTTPS. Local, intranet or other private addresses are refused for safety.
No analytics for blog posts
WordPress sites don't get insights or best-time suggestions in GoBrandIt. Your site's own analytics covers traffic.

Other integrations
Can I schedule WordPress blog posts from GoBrandIt?
Yes. Connect your site, write the post in the composer, set the "WordPress Options" and pick a time. Choose "Save as Draft" or "Pending Review" if someone should check it in WordPress first.
How do I create a WordPress Application Password?
In wp-admin go to Users → Profile, scroll to Application Passwords, enter a name and click Add New Application Password. Copy it straight away, because WordPress shows it once. Paste it into GoBrandIt with your site URL and username.
Does it work with WordPress.com sites?
Yes. Choose "WordPress.com / Jetpack Site" when you add the account and sign in with WordPress.com. You don't need an Application Password for that route.
Is there a free WordPress plugin to share posts to social media?
Yes. The GoBrandIt plugin is free and works on every GoBrandIt plan, including Free. It adds "Share on GoBrandIt" under every post and page, and needs WordPress 6.0+ and PHP 7.4+. Download v1.1.1.
Why are my other images missing from the WordPress post?
GoBrandIt uses only the first image, and only as the featured image. Other media isn't inserted into the post body, so add inline images in WordPress.
Your blog and your socials, on one calendar.
Connect your WordPress site free, or grab the plugin and share from wp-admin. 3 accounts on the Free plan, no card needed.
